Bitmaps

The links below allow you to download new sets of star "bitmaps" for SkyMap Pro 10 onwards. To use one of these new sets of bitmaps, proceed as follows:

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the SkyMap Pro installation directory and from there to the "Data\Bitmaps" folder. There you will see a set of files with names of the form "starx.bmp" where "x" is a number. Delete all these files.
Unzip the new set of bitmaps into this same folder.
The next time you run SkyMap, you will see the new bitmaps.
If you wish to recover the original bitmaps, either copy them back from the SkyMap installation CD-ROM, or download the "original" bitmap set below.
